Hello,
I made a booking to Chicago and paid for 3 of the 4 passenger baggage ( 20kg each ). But when the itinerary emailed to me, it shows I didn’t purchase any. I got back to them on Turkish Airlines Office USA Number and as usual, just followed what was on that email! I asked them to check their computer log but they just reply robotically the same answer as the email. I hope to get some help here!
Turkish Airlines Office USA customer service is horrible. I had to recheck my bookings as the flight timing were still unclear but the executive kept me on hold for almost an hour then told me to call back after 3 hours and just disconnected. Like a fool I stayed on hold for an hour just to get hung up on. Worse customer service ever.
Why don’t the customer service at Turkish Airlines Office USA speak English.? I was on call with someone who kept telling me “no english” like why?
They hung up on me. My flight was cancelled and the rep said to make a new one would cost me $200-300. I asked why it would cost me when it was cancelled on their end? And he said “just because” and hung up
Terrible company. NOT MILITARY friendly. I booked a trip to Dubai with a connection to Istanbul. The flight to Istanbul was good, but the moment I made it to Turkey, that’s when the airline started to give me trouble because I am In the military. They wouldn’t allow me to board my connecting flight to Dubai because they wanted an Diplomatic Visa in order for us to board the connecting flight. This is not even a requirement by the government of Dubai. Dubai government official webpage says that U.S. citizens issues can enter Dubai WITHOUT a Visa and get a FREE visa on arrival. The staff from Turkish airlines didn’t gave us any option, wouldn’t allow us to leave the terminal and now they will not even provide a voucher or a coupon for all the grievance, and terrible experience they made us go thru. I had to purchase tickets to another country (U.K.) to get out of there (Istanbul) they were not giving us any options and they were keeping us there almost hostage. I wouldn’t recommend this airline to any military member.
